Our commitment to rice and salt

After repeated trial and error, the rice we chose was “Fukkurinko”, a fluffy, shiny slightly chewy and sweet rice from southern Hokkaido.

The key to the flavor is the salt, which is rich in minerals, has a soft taste, and is free of unnecessary flavors. It is made from 100% seawater from Funka Bay in Hokkaido.

In Japanese, "Omusubi" not only means rice balls but also means making a connection.The perfect combination of rice from southern Hokkaido and natural salt from Funka Bay has resulted in some very delicious Omusubi.
